The signs are all there. Getting older happens to the best of us. It just means less cavorting and more snuggles. Shorter walks but longer hugs. Pampering instead of pushing full steam ahead. Rico, our sweet YellowLab/Great Pyrenees mix is eight next month ( our best guess as he’s a pound puppy). That’s 56 in dog years, not THAT old but sure enough, my furry friend is slowing down. He looks sad in this picture because Paul had to cut his walk short this morning -Rico was limping. He’s fine but I’m not sure I am. It’s hard to face the fact that we have less years with Rico than what we’ve already had. Extra love to doggies today!
