I’m truly passionate about photographing family portraits of all kinds—from large extended family gatherings to high school senior sessions and playful moments with little ones. There’s something incredibly special about capturing the genuine connections, joyful laughter, and real smiles that naturally unfold during a portrait session. I strive to create a relaxed and fun environment where everyone feels comfortable being themselves, allowing those authentic moments to shine. One of the greatest honors of my work is having families return year after year, trusting me to document their milestones and everyday magic. Watching children grow and families evolve over time is a privilege I never take for granted.

Wedlake Photographic is a  home portrait studio located a few blocks from historic Olde Town Arvada – I utilize Arvada’s “Main Street”  charm and take advantage of being close to several picturesque parks for Senior Portrait sessions. If you love the mountains we are close to great locations in the foothills for a classic Colorado look.

Arvada Professional Headshots

Olde Town Arvada is a perfect spot to create professional headshots with it’s mix of urban and natural environments. I typically do a blurred background so the viewer cannot distinguish specific buildings or features and this creates a fresh, modern look. We all need updated headshots every couple years so I aim to make it easy and affordable.
