Rio Chama

Paul just returned today from a four day river rafting trip on the Rio Chama in New Mexico! He went with a group of good friends that are all river guides or kayakers. Our friend Mad Max introduced us to most of these people and got us on the river early on in our Colorado days ( forever grateful for that, Max!). We haven’t been on a river trip since the kids came along so when the opportunity arose I told Paul he just had to make time in his schedule to go! I’m really glad he did although I was not happy to hear that he went out on a rope swing and jumped in the river without knowing how deep or how safe it was. Such a kid at heart!  I’m also glad he went because he got to spend a few more days with our dear friends, Mark & Tara before they headed off to France ( we miss you guys already)!
