I am an avid reader and usually like to end an evening with a few chapters of a New York Times Bestseller. On my last visit to the library I found the book “Exposed:Confessions of a Wedding Photographer” by Claire Lewis. Okay, how could I not pick up this book, right? She’s my people. But this book stressed me out! LOL. In my ten years as a wedding photographer I have maybe four “stories”. She has enough to write a book. It’s probably a fun read for most people but just not a good choice for me to relax with at the end of a day 🙂 She writes about how she once shot rolls and rolls of film but there was nothing on them due to a camera malfunction. Back when I was shooting film that was one of my biggest worries. I knew I had backup if something broke but what if I didn’t know it was broken? I guess I also have really nice, normal clients. Claire Lewis writes about quirky brides and couples who fight at their wedding. Strange thing was though, I couldn’t put the book down! I guess there is a part of me that thrives on the stress.
