As you may know, I’ve been scaling back a bit on wedding photography over the last couple of years. Twenty plus years in the wedding photography biz and I still LOVE weddings – they do take their toll, though. Long hours, weekends away from family, the day after body aches, editing long into the night almost every night and a very competitive, saturated market has had me not turning down weddings but not really seeking them out, either. I’ve been focused on creating a business I love photographing families, babies and high school seniors. Weddings like this though … they’ll keep me with a “toe dipped in the water” for some time. I just loved everything about Rick and Shelby’s wedding at Richards- Hart Estate in Wheat Ridge, CO! The couple. The venue. The families. The intimate ceremony. The details.
