Our wedding photography is a mix of photojournalism, fine art, traditional and contemporary portraits. We are a husband and wife team with complimentary photography backgrounds. Beth specializes in portraits and Paul is an accomplished photojournalist. This means you will have the most well rounded coverage possible. We also photograph engagement and bridal portraits as well as portraits of family, children, expecting mothers and high school seniors. We specialize in portraits on location! This could be a mountain or urban setting, your favorite park or your own home. Of course, we also have a studio for indoor portraits. We only do a maximum of three sessions a day, this means that you will not feel that you are on an assembly line or that there is a time crunch. Beth Wedlake has over eleven years experience as a portrait and wedding photographer. She received an Associate degree in Portrait Photography and worked with several award winning studios before opening Wedlake Photographic. She has received awards for her photography from the Gilpin County Arts Association, Lakewood Arts Council, Evergreen Naturalists Audubon Society, and Professional Photographers of Colorado. Beth is a member of Wedding & Portrait Photographers International and Wedding Photographers of Colorado.
Paul Wedlake has a degree in Photojournalism and takes assignments all over the country and world. He is an accomplished commercial and editorial photographer whose work has appeared in national publications. This makes him uniquely qualified to photograph weddings in a photojournalistic style. Paul is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers.
