SubscribeI spent a couple hours last week photographing newborn pictures at the home of this beautiful baby girl and her family. Ryleigh was awake for most of the session which gave us a chance to get environmental images – pictures of her in her home environment and with her family holding her… those are always so sweet! Then she settled in for a nap and we put her in the cute sleepy newborn poses.
Lauren is so cute! Mom wanted a photograph of her in her skinny jeans and Dad liked a more classic look so …. we did both! Lauren didn’t care, she just wanted to play with the beads.
Belmar Park in Lakewood might be my new favorite portrait location, there are so many options there for children’s photography! Ben & Will are the cutest brothers and we had fun walking around looking at the buildings, old cars and fire hydrant. We finished with a fun game of “Red light, Green light”. I LOVE kid sessions!
Oh, happy day! Christina and Jeff started out with some pictures at the Denver West Marriott (not seeing each other, of course), then took limo rides up to The Pines at Genesee. I love this venue because it feels very “Colorado Mountains” while still being quite close to Denver and we can get a nice variety with The Pines at Genesee Wedding Photos because there are so many areas to work with. Beautiful light that day and beautiful couple, too! The bride looked stunning in her gown (it even had pockets!). We photographed until almost sunset – a photographers favorite time of day! The Father of the Bride, Best (wo)Man and Maid of Honor gave toasts that were heartwarming and humorous and anyone could tell they each have a special relationship with Christina and Jeff. The most special relationship though is between this wedding couple – their love for each other shows in all they do.
